Knowtel has a wealth of experience that has been gained from working on both sides of the Telecommunications and IT business. This gives a unique set of skills that can be deployed to the advantage of user organisations.

Knowtel’s founder Bruce Wallace, holder of a degree in Computer Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry, an HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and PRINCE II Practitioner, has spent the whole of his career in IT and Telecoms.

Bruce has operated at all levels within various organisations, working on both sides of the fence, i.e. IT and Telecoms suppliers and end users, at national and international level.  Organisations that have benefited from Bruce’s expertise include British Airways, British Telecom, Dutch Railways, Ericsson, Intercontinental Hotels, KPN Telecom (NL), NTL, the EU and academia.

Having held roles as an engineer, operator, manager, programme manager and finally as a consultant, Bruce is equally at home on the ‘shop floor’ as in the boardroom.  His strengths encompass successful management of business and technical programmes, multi-cultural & international business experience, and a high degree of commercial awareness.
